8th March 2025 (Updated 28th March 2025)
These are the release notes for the March 2025 tranche of updates. We actively update and maintain our software packages as well as infrastructure to keep your sites running as fast as possible.
The changes in this release are as follows:
- [Maintenance] Client Portal Upgrades: We have performed essential upgrades to our Client Portal
- [Enhancement] DirectAdmin Upgrade: We have upgraded the version of DirectAdmin on our hosting cluster to version
1.674
- [Enhancement] PHP 8.4: We have now made PHP 8.4 available across our hosting stack
- [Enhancement] Fusion Execution Jitter: We have now added a random delay of between 1 and 60 seconds to all of our executions, to prevent all devices from running scripts at the same time. This puts less strain on client networks if there are lots of machines.
- [Enhancement] Fusion Endpoint Protection: Following a successful trial of running EDR sensors on Fusion Endpoints, we are now trialling MDR with pilot clients, with the hope to offer this as a service later this year. We have also introduced automatic installation of our Anti-Virus on managed endpoints if it is missing and you subscribe to this service.
- [Enhancement] Fusion Endpoint Filtering: Following a successful trial of agent-based DNS Filtering, we are now beginning to contact clients who registered an interest in this service. We are beginning to roll this out in production.
- [NEW] Fusion Reboot Required Notification: We have implemented a new feature to detect whether a system has been online for over 14 days, and if so, send a daily reminder to reboot. This is being rolled out this month as part of our next release of Zarro Fusion.
- [Enhancement] Fusion Windows 11 Upgrade: We are rolling out Windows 11 24H2 to all Managed Endpoints.
- [NEW] Fusion Manager Interface: We have now implemented a new integration in the Zarro Client portal which provides users with visibility of all their devices under Zarro Management.
- [NEW] Fusion Manager Quick Actions: We have now implemented the ability to reboot and remotely connect to your devices, directly from the Zarro Client Portal.
- [NEW] Openreach MSO Visibility: We have now added a table of Openreach Major Service Outages to the Broadband page on our website - this shows all outages reported by Openreach's API and is not limited to our customers. These are outages at the carrier level and are not indicative of Zarro service outages.

The above upgrades were performed in line with our regular patching schedule, and exclude other general maintenance patches, such as security updates and kernel updates which are performed regularly and in most cases, autonomously.
If you notice any issues in relation to the recent upgrades, please raise a support ticket.
