12th June 2025

If you are viewing these Release Notes before the end of the month, please note that additional features and release notes may be added before the month end.

These are the release notes for the June 2025 tranche of updates. We actively update and maintain our software packages as well as infrastructure to keep your sites running as fast as possible.

The changes in this release are as follows:

  • [Maintenance] Client Portal Upgrades: We have performed essential security upgrades to our Client Portal
  • [Enhancement] Omada Reverse Proxy Upgrade: We have upgraded our Reverse Proxy that sits in front of the Hosted Omada Controller service. This is following some reports of a blank login page. The new reverse proxy improves stability and fixes some underlying bugs with the service.
  • [Enhancement] DirectAdmin Upgrade: We have upgraded the version of DirectAdmin on our hosting cluster to version 1.678
  • [Enhancement] VPS Stack Upgrade: We have performed maintenance on our Virtual Private Server hosts, improving stability and performance
  • [Enhancement] Dovecot Configuration Change: We have amended the Dovecot configuration on our hosted email service to prevent clients from authenticating without encryption. Only encrypted authentication mechanisms are now supported, and on secure ports.
  • [Enhancement] Omada Hosted Controller Update: We have upgraded our Hosted Omada Controller Service to version 5.15.24.17
  • [Enhancement] Managed Firewall Firmware Update: We have updated the firmware across all customers with a Zarro Orbit Managed Firewall
  • [New] Secure Credential Sharing: We have now developed a new mechanism for requesting credentials from clients, when a client is requested to provide more than a single password.

The above upgrades were performed in line with our regular patching schedule, and exclude other general maintenance patches, such as security updates and kernel updates which are performed regularly and in most cases, autonomously.

If you notice any issues in relation to the recent upgrades, please raise a support ticket.
