If you are viewing these Release Notes before the end of the month, please note that additional features and release notes may be added before the month end.

These are the release notes for the January 2026 tranche of updates. We actively update and maintain our software packages as well as infrastructure to keep your sites running as fast as possible.

Release Notes for the final few months of 2025 were not published as no major changes took place. Efforts were focused on developing new features that we are releasing this year. Usual hosting and server maintenance took place as normal during this period.

The changes in this release are as follows:

  • [Change] VPS Email Port Block: Following increased levels of abuse reports from bad actors misusing our infrastructure, we have now blocked email ports on all new VPS' going forwards. This does not affect any existing VPS', and clients may request an exemption where there is a true business case.
  • [Enhancement] Omada Controller Upgrade: We have upgraded the Hosted Omada Controller environment.
  • [Enhancement] Zarro Client Portal: We have upgraded the resources on our Client Portal, resulting in improved performance and provisioning times.
  • [Enhancement] Zarro Fusion Authentication Service: We have upgraded the back-end of the Fusion Authentication Service, improving latency between endpoints and our cloud.
  • [Development - BETA] Zarro SafeNet Agent: We are building an agent to compliment our Fusion offering, providing increased cyber protection thanks to our robust SafeNet network and service
  • [Development - BETA] Zarro Anti-Phishing Service: We are almost ready to release our public phishing reporting service, allowing clients to forward phishing emails to our automated system which will review malicious URLs and block them across our client-base.
  • [New Feature] Zarro Mobile Dashboard: We're pleased to announce that Zarro Mobile customers can now view their usage in the Client Portal. This works for all supported networks (Vodafone, O2, Three). A preview of the dashboard can be found below. Note that this dashboard is still in its infancy, and we will continue to develop new features for it over time.
  • [Enhancement] Zarro Broadband Dashboard: To increase consistency across our product dashboards, we have redesigned our broadband dashboard to match the new design of our services. We have also made some improvements, such as hiding passwords which can be viewed on-click, and improved the loading speed of the dashboard. A preview of the dashboard can be found below. We are continuing to develop this dashboard. We have also resolved a bug which caused clients to be logged out of the portal when viewing their broadband usage.
  • [Enhancement] Zarro Fusion Manager Dashboard: To increase consistency across our product dashboards, we have redesigned our Fusion Manager dashboard to match the new design of our services. We have also made several improvements, including adding a cache layer to improve performance. We have also resolved some reported bugs, and have rebuilt the backend of the dashboard to improve security. We have also added cards showing the number of Online/Offline/Server/Workstation devices, alongside an indicator of the number of devices needing a reboot. Further developments are being made and we will be releasing another version of this dashboard soon. A preview of this dashboard can be found below.
