Major Release - October 2026

These are the release notes for the October 2026 tranche of updates. We actively update and maintain our software packages as well as infrastructure to keep your sites running as fast as possible.

 

Release Notes for many months of 2026 were not published as no major changes took place. Efforts were focused on developing new features that we are releasing this year. Usual hosting and server maintenance took place as normal during this period. 

 

The changes in this release are as follows:

 

  • [Enhancement] Client Portal Styling: We have redesigned the client portal with simplicity, speed and accessibility in mind. A screenshot of the new interface can be found below. We will continue to improve this interface, so we welcome any feedback from our clients.

  • [New Feature] Fusion Estate Explorer: We have just released a new feature for our Fusion customers - the ability to search your own estate. Want to know which machines are running Windows 10, or running a particular piece of software? All done via our intuitive question builder with instant results.

  • [New Feature] Reverse DNS Self-Service: We're pleased to announce that a long awaited feature is now here - the ability to manage your own RDNS/PTR records. When you navigate to your VPS, you now have the option to set a PTR record.

  • [Early Access] Telephony Self-Service: We're currently building out our telephony and VoIP service portals. In the future this will give clients the ability to manage their telephony service directly in the client portal. A limited 'read-only' version is now available for our existing telephony clients.

  • [Early Access] New VPS Options: Due to a new partnership with a local datacenter, we will soon be enabling new VPS options - including NVMe and high-availability options. This is separate from our existing VPS Offerings.

  • [Early Access] Omada Site Manager: We are bringing our Hosted Omada Controller management to your client portals. This will also bring more accurate billing for our MSP customers - device additions and removals are automatically accounted for now.

The above upgrades were performed in line with our regular patching schedule, and exclude other general maintenance patches, such as security updates and kernel updates which are performed regularly and in most cases, autonomously.
