Zarro Fusion Notifications
We have recently implemented a new technology which will automatically determine and inform you if your system has an uptime of over 14 days.
Computers with an uptime of over 14 days should be rebooted, as in this timeframe it's likely that several security updates have been applied to your system by our team, and a reboot will be required to fully apply them. Rebooting often also comes with the benefit of improved performance and stability.
We have included screenshots of the alerts below.
Note that we have currently only built this functionality for Windows Operating Systems. We are working on building this for MacOS and Linux systems too, which will be available in a new release of Zarro Fusion.
How it works
- Our System works out if your system has been online for 14 days, if so then proceed to next step, if not, abort
- Check if a notification has already been sent today, if not, proceed to next step, if so, abort
- Send notification and save a log of the notification to prevent repeat notifications on the same day. The notification will persist until you manually dismiss it.
This process happens every 1 hour, but you will receive no more than 1 notification per day.
