If you're subscribing to a web hosting package, you'll rightly be wondering how fast it is, how reliable it is, and if there are any limits.

Those 3 questions go hand-in-hand. We try to keep our platform as fast as possible, and also maintain a steady uptime rating.

To achieve this, we "jail" each client account. This means that your client account on our server will be limited to the resources that you pay for.

In practice, you won't notice any difference. However, if you start a resource-intensive operation, your site may slow down, while others won't.

The great thing about this is that if 30 clients all start processing large queries, your hosting account won't be affected by this.

So yes, we do impose some IO limits, but these are only noticable if you begin running large queries or processes. We can also raise these limits for you temporarily if you need to run a process.

All of our packages are optimised for website and WordPress hosting. Therefore the limits imposed will not affect your website's performance.
