Your Hosted Omada MSP service brings your assigned customers and sites into the Zarro client portal. Start with a combined inventory, select a site for its full management view, and export current device quantities and billing estimates for your own customer billing.

Available actions depend on your service permissions, device capabilities and the customers assigned to your linked controller account. Contact support if an expected customer, site or control is missing.

Open your MSP dashboard

  1. Sign in to the Zarro client portal.
  2. Open Services and select your Hosted Omada MSP service.
  3. Find the Site selector beneath the service banner.

A customer represents a client organisation. A site represents one of that customer's networks or locations. Global view combines inventory across the customers and sites assigned to your account.

Global view

The default Global view · All assigned sites shows a compact combined device list, with customer/site information and aggregate managed-device counts. Search, filter and sort the list to find equipment. Use the refresh icon to update this overview.

The eye icon opens an individual device's details, installation notes and photo. Select a site to open its full network tabs and device controls.

Select a customer site

Choose a site beneath its customer in the dropdown. The site view loads automatically, and the banner and inventory identify the selected site.

Check the customer/site before adding devices or changing settings. The inform URL in Add Device follows the selected site. Return to Global view · All assigned sites for the combined inventory.

Selecting a site changes the network you are viewing. Your MSP service's collected usage still covers managed equipment across all assigned customer sites.

Create and edit customers or sites

These controls appear when enabled for your service.

Create a customer

  1. Click + Customer in the Site section.
  2. Enter the customer name.
  3. Confirm that the customer should be created and linked to your existing controller account.
  4. Click Create customer.

Customer creation organises networks under your linked account. It does not create a separate client login.

Create a site

  1. Click + Site and choose its customer.
  2. Enter a site name, such as “Head office”.
  3. Copy suitable regional settings from an existing site, or enter the settings for the new location. Check the country, time zone and scenario.
  4. Set the site's Device username and Device password. These credentials are used for managed devices and are separate from controller and portal logins.
  5. Confirm the selected customer and click Create site.

For a first site, contact support if you are unsure which regional values to use. If a creation request is unconfirmed, check the customer/site list before submitting it again.

Use Manage customers to edit available customer names and descriptions. Open an individual site's Settings → General to change its name and address. Contact support for changes to the controller account linked to your MSP service or its customer access.

Use the selected site's network tabs

Section What it shows
Devices Network equipment, status, health readings, IP addresses and uptime.
Connected clients Client sessions, network/device connections, traffic and wireless signal information where available. Wired clients can show port and VLAN details.
Gateway WAN Reported internet connection details. This tab appears when the site has a managed gateway.
Logs & Alerts Unresolved/resolved alerts and searchable All, System, Device and Client events.
Insights Interactive traffic and client-activity charts for date ranges within the last three calendar months.
Settings The selected site's General and Device Settings.

Use search, filters and clickable headings to narrow or sort tables. Live tables refresh periodically; Refresh requests fresh information, and Pause live updates pauses automatic updates.

Alerts appear above events, and the tab's indicator highlights unresolved alerts. Log search filters the displayed page; use the page controls and history/category filters to explore more events. History depends on controller retention. Insights uses UTC dates/times; wireless and switch traffic can overlap and are shown separately. Managed-device quantities determine device usage charges.

Manage individual devices

Click a device's eye icon. The installation photo or a placeholder appears on the left, with these tabs on the right:

  • Overview: model, status, MAC, serial, IP, firmware and available health information.
  • Location & photo: a location, installation notes and an optional JPEG/PNG photograph, up to 8 MB and 12 megapixels. Click Save location & photo after editing. These records stay in the portal.
  • Controller settings: change the device's controller name with Save device name, when enabled. Refresh the inventory to confirm the new name.

Renaming preserves the device's installation notes and photo. You can replace a photograph or select Remove existing photo and save.

Other available device controls include:

  • Reboot — circular arrow: restart an available device; connectivity through it will be interrupted.
  • Locate — light bulb: flash supported LEDs to find equipment, then use the control again to stop.
  • Upgrade icon: review and confirm an available firmware update.
  • Device details & ports on switches: inspect reported port status, VLAN/profile information and attached clients.

Reconnect in Connected clients briefly interrupts an individual wireless client's connection. Device actions depend on their current state and the features enabled for your service.

Remove a device

Deleting forgets the device in the controller, removes its controller configuration/history and stops management. Network access may be interrupted. Factory reset and re-adoption are required before managing it again; an offline device may need a manual reset.

  1. Check the customer/site and open the device's eye popup.
  2. In Overview, expand Delete device.
  3. Read and acknowledge the warning, then click Delete device.
  4. Use Close & refresh to check the inventory.

If the response is unconfirmed, check the controller or contact support before repeating the request. Portal installation notes and photos are retained by this action.

Add equipment to the correct site

Select the target site, then click Add Device. Review the gateway, switch and access-point rates shown at the top. Additional charges depend on the managed equipment and any remaining service allowance.

Inform URL and adoption

Use Copy URL in the popup to obtain the selected site's inform URL. Follow the adoption instructions for your compatible device or setup tool. Always copy the URL after selecting the intended site, and contact support if you need help connecting the equipment.

A device must have power and connectivity to reach the controller. When it appears as pending, use Adopt if available. Supply existing local device credentials when required and confirm.

Zero-touch provisioning by device key

In Zero-touch provisioning, enter the device key from its label or packaging and optionally enter a name. Use Existing device credentials only for equipment that already has a local administrator account; enter both fields or leave both empty.

Click Add device and review its progress. Allow time for registration/adoption. Check progress and inventory before repeating an unconfirmed request.

Update firmware

The firmware banner and device pills identify reported updates. View devices opens the inventory with the update filter applied.

Select an eligible device's upgrade icon, review the current/target versions and any release notes, then confirm the restart notice. Updating may disconnect clients. Wait for the Upgrading status to finish and verify the device returns online before taking further action.

Configure site Device Settings

Open the selected site's Settings → Device Settings. Save each section separately:

  • Device LEDs: enable or disable normal status LEDs on supported devices.
  • SSH access: enable device SSH login, choose port 22 or 1025–65535 and set cross-subnet access where supported. Connect using your SSH client and that site's device account credentials.
  • SNMP monitoring: configure v1/v2c communities or an SNMPv3 username and security/authentication/encryption profile for your monitoring system.

Saved SNMP secrets remain hidden. Blank fields preserve an unchanged profile; new protocols or security-profile changes require the applicable new credentials. Follow the form's length and character rules.

These settings affect supported devices at the selected site, so verify the customer/site before saving.

Understand your MSP billing overview

Click Billing overview in the Site section. It covers all assigned customer sites, including when opened while you are viewing one site.

The overview groups gateway, switch and access-point quantities by customer, with site rows beneath and estimated monthly amounts based on your service's rates.

  • Managed offline devices continue to count.
  • Pending/unmanaged equipment is excluded.
  • Connected computers, phones and other end-user clients do not count as managed network equipment.
  • Any included device allowance applies to the whole MSP service and is shared across customers, rather than restarting for every customer or site.

Monthly figures are estimates with shared allowances allocated proportionally. They exclude tax and base service fees. Collected usage in Metrics may update at a different time from live inventory; use your invoices for final charges. Where included, an invoice's customer/site breakdown shows recorded device quantities alongside the service and usage charges.

Export a billing CSV

  1. Open Billing overview and find Export billing CSV.
  2. Choose All customers or a specific customer.
  3. Select Customer totals or Site breakdown.
  4. Click Download CSV.

The export includes quantities by device category, unit rates, estimated monthly amounts, currency and the export time. Each file contains one row level, helping you avoid counting customer totals and their sites twice.

CSV figures reflect the current inventory and service rates. Use your invoices for historical charges, and apply your own customer pricing where it differs from your MSP service's rates.

Controller access and troubleshooting

Actions → Login to Controller opens the controller login page. Sign in with your controller credentials; portal and controller logins are separate.

If a customer/site is missing, check that you opened the correct MSP service and ask support to review its linked account access. If network tabs are missing, choose a site from Global view.

Live update unavailable · showing last data means the information may be out of date. Refresh or reopen the service. For an unconfirmed add, edit, update or removal request, check the current state before submitting again.

When contacting support, include the service number, customer/site, affected device name/MAC, time and error message or screenshot. Keep passwords, device keys and SNMP secrets out of support messages.
