To prevent exhaustion of server resources, all hosting providers enforce some limits. This is to ensure stability of services among all clients, and to ensure that not one single client can overwhelm our infrastructure.
Most services have a fair usage policy applied to them. These limits are very generous, and it's unlikely that you will ever hit them. Please see the services and their limits below.

Exceptions |
"Unlimited Disk Space" |
We provide Unlimited Disk Space for clients (where subscribed to an applicable product). However, these files can only be website files and resources. The client must not host any other content or files on the service unless they are publicly available and used on the website being hosted. |

"Unlimited Bandwidth" |
We provide Unlimited Bandwidth to Website Hosting clients. We will only impose a limit if the usage of a particular client is considered excessive in line with the average usage. |

Email Hosting

Limits |
Exceptions |
"Unlimited Disk Space" |
We provide Unlimited Disk Space for clients (where subscribed to an applicable product). However, we impose a limit of 100GB per mailbox. |
Where usage is >100GB, you may purchase additional space for £2.50/month per 10GB. You will be requested to reduce the size of your mailbox within 7 days (by pruning/archiving old emails). If you fail to do so, your invoice will increase by £2.50/month for every 10GB consumed. |
Outbound Email Sending |
We impose a limit of 1000 daily emails per client on our Enterprise Email Hosting product - inclusive of all users in that organisation. Web Hosting clients with basic IMAP mailboxes are limited to 250 emails per day - inclusive of all users within that package. Your email service must not in any circumstances be used for mass mailing. Please contact us if you need this functionality so that we can provide you with an appropriate product. |
Where an organisation needs to send more than 1000 daily emails, we will charge an extra £2.50/month for every additional 500 outbound emails. |
VPS Servers

Exceptions |
vCPU |
Clients are allocated a number of vCPU (Virtual CPUs). A limit is imposed to ensure that you do not exceed 80% of physical cores. |
Where a Managed VPS has been purchased, this limit is increased to 90%. |
Free Backups |
Where free backups are included, we will only back up VPS Servers totalling <=70GB in size. |
To back up a VPS Server with disk space larger than 70GB, please purchase a backup plan. |
IPv4/IPv6 |
When you purchase an IPv4/IPv6 address from us (or use the inclusive IP Addresses), these remain owned by AJRB Services and therefore we monitor usage of these IP Addresses. These must not be used in any way that would degrade the performance of our services, or harm the reputation of the business - including mass mailing, spam, abuse. Please review our Acceptable Use Policy for more information. |

Bandwidth |
Bandwidth across all of our VPS plans is sold as 'Unlimited'. However, we will contact clients where the bandwidth usage exceeds the average cumulative usage of all clients. Where bandwidth is used excessively, you may be subject to additional bandwidth costs. |
