If you have been sent an email and it has not been received yet, then it's likely that the email has been greylisted.

Greylisting is a function of the spam filter that will "soft reject" an email and wait for it to be resent to our mail servers. This is a protective measure to ensure that the email originated from an actual mail server, rather than a rogue PHP script etc.

E-Mails with a spam score of >=8 will be automatically greylisted. Once they have been successfully resent to our servers, then they will be delivered to your mailbox, providing that they pass the other filtering checks.

Notes

- Please note that we cannot disable Greylisting for your account at present. It is enabled at a global level for all users/domains.

- Please note that we cannot release greylisted emails. If they have been sent from a legitimate mail server, then they will arrive in your inbox after the greylisting check has been completed.

- Greylisting delays can be between 5 minutes and 1 hour (usually the lower end of the scale). This is mostly dependent on how regular the sender email server re-tries sending the message.
