By subscribing to our testing plans, you will typically receive a free service or heavily discounted service, in exchange for your product feedback and bug reports.

However, it should be noted that no plans within our 'testing' phase of their lifecycle come with any guarantee of any form.

 

Pre-Production

Applications and services that have been released to you in their 'pre-production' phase have not yet been tested to our usual standards, and may require further testing, tweaking or amendments.

Stability, uptime and support is not guaranteed. We instruct clients not to place any business or critical data on these services as there is a risk of data loss.

We also do not guarantee following the testing phase that we will proceed with the specific product. There may, as a result, be an immediate or short-notice disconnection to the service if we deem it unsuitable. We make every effort to inform clients during the testing phase, but we will not hesitate to disconnect it with no notice from our network if we determine that the application poses a risk to our network or customers. Development applications are typically installed in an isolated network away from our production systems - however, in some cases, they may require some partial access to production networks for automated provisioning - this depends on the nature of the application being reviewed.

 

Data Storage

We do not guarantee data safety, retention or regulations are followed during testing phases.

You should not upload any production, critical, confidential or important data to services in their testing phases. There may be security issues that haven't yet been addressed, or functionality making the application vulnerable.

We do vet new solutions before installing them, however, you are responsible for your data and should take caution with any uploads. You should also ensure that you do not use the same credentials on testing services as you do with other sites/services.

 

Backups

Typically during testing phases of products, backups will not be enabled. As such, there is a risk of entire data loss during this period. If backups are enabled and you lose data despite our guidance above, we will charge for a restoration - restorations are also not guaranteed on testing services.

 

Support

No formal support is offered with any testing service. However, we request that you submit support tickets with any issues that you come across. This allows us to make a decision about whether we proceed with a specific product.
